Vitamix CIA Professional Series (98/100)
Vitamix CIA (Culinary Institute of America) has been holding the title of one of the top available on the market for years now. Manufacturers have been unable to top this incredible machine. Owning a Vitamix in your kitchen is very similar to owning an exotic sports car. It’s not for everyone’s budget, but if you are able to afford it you are getting pure performance and joy from using this unique kitchen appliance. Do you enjoy making smoothies? This particular Vitamix is the best blender for smoothies. Where competition will leave pieces of ingredients and ice, Vitamix will turn them both to an incredible consistency needed to make a perfect smoothie.
Vitamix is so confident in their product, they offer a 7-year warranty on their product. Why is that important? The electric motor will be put through quite a bit of stress, having to blend things like ice and frozen fruit. Where most manufacturers only provide 2-3 years of warranty, Vitamix giving 7 really proves how heavy duty the Vitamix is. Read our complete review to get more familiar with it, and see if it is fit for your household.
Blendtec Professional’s Choice (94/100)
Its no surprise to see this iconic brand take our number two highest rated slot. Blendtec Total for long time has been trying to overthrow Vitamix from their number one spot. A very simple to use 1,560 watt machine with stainless steel blades that spin near 30,000 rpm that get amazing consistency of whichever object is in the jar.
You may have seen the “Will it Blend” YouTube show, if you haven’t definitely check it out to see the true power of this amazing appliance. On the show they test the strength, durability, and power of the appliance by attempting to blend items that a normal person would not put in. Anything from marbles, diamonds, phones, golf balls and just about anything they can get their hands on.

Waring Pro MX1000R Professional (88/100)
Waring Pro MX1000R is a great choice for those seeing a simple, well priced, and exceptionally well performing machine. Waring is not a well known brand as Vitamix and Blendtec, but that doesn’t stop them from creating a machine that some rave about. The MX1000R is your standard 64 ounce polycarbonate pitcher, which is basically military strength plastic, used in windshields in aircraft.
This Waring has very simple controls of just two switches. One for changing from high and low speeds, and another for a pulse function. Most enjoy the simplicity of the appliance, others wish there were more features. The 3.5 hp motor that will turn the blending blades to the speeds over 30,000 does not discriminate. For around the $300 zone, the MX1000R is a good choice for those seeing a high quality appliance without the price tag of Vitamix or Blendtec. Read our complete review and decide!
Breville BBL605XL Hemisphere (85/100)
Breville is well known from creating some of the top juicer machines that one can buy. My favorite feature of this machine is the hemispherical shape of the bottom of the jug. Look closely at the picture, you can see how all the ingredients would be forced into the shape. The benefit? The blades take up that small area entirely, meaning no wasted or unblended chunks will be left after you’re done.
Breville BBL605XL has all necessary features one might need. A powerful 750 watt motor, 48 ounce pitcher. The buttons light up for easier reading. Dedicated smoothie and ice crushing buttons. Pulse function. The BBL605XL was rated as the best in 2012, and will definitely take a high rating in 2016 and forward. Operating the BB605XL can easily be expressed in the following; simplicity and functionality. Continue to read our review and see what other features the Breville BBL605XL would bring into your kitchen.

When shopping for a reliable, kitchen appliance on a budget, Cuisinart is always a must look at. Cuisinart has been in the game for a very long time
creating great food processors, juicers and other various kitchen appliances. Over the years they have found ways to provide their consumers with affordable and reliable kitchen appliances.
The Cuisinart CBT 1000 is everything that we expected it to be. A 64 ounce BPA-free jar. A metal die-cast housing that looks great on a counter. A very simple and easy to use back-lit controls. One of the things I like the most about this machine is its pre-programmed smoothie function. Ninja BL660 Professional (82/100)
Ninja may not be the most popular or most well known brand, but that doesn’t stop them from making some really amazing kitchen blenders with great value.
This Ninja will set you back around $150, which is fairly inexpensive when compared to the big players like Vitamix, Breville and Blendtec. But you don’t really lose out on any important features. You still get 1,000 watts of power, variable and pulse speeds. Not to mention the 72 ounce jar that is larger than majority which max out at 64 ounces. So what is the true verdict on the capabilities that the Ninja BL660 brings to the kitchen? You’ll have to read my full review for that!
